Jessica R. Botelho, Esq. joined Harris-Pero Legal Counsel, PLLC in early May!

We are thrilled to share that this month Jessica R. Botelho, Esq. (formerly Coombs) will be joining Megan as a Partner at Harris-Pero Legal Counsel, PLLC. After four years of the firm’s development and growth, we are glad that Jessica has decided to join our team!

Jessica earned her Juris Doctor at Albany Law School after graduating cum laude from University at Albany in 2010. Ms. Botelho brings additional experience in estate planning, trust and estate settlement, adult guardianships, special needs planning, and long term care planning.  The two attorneys are committed to a mission of helping people plan and prepare for life transitions. “We are really proud of the individualized planning and support we are able to give our clients, working closely with Jess will allow collaboration that I am confident will make it easier for us to achieve the best outcomes possible for our clients,” said Founding Attorney, Ms. Harris-Pero.

In her free time, Jess serves as Secretary for the Adirondack Women’s Bar Association and Vice-Chair of the Special Needs Committee of the New York State Bar Association Elder Law Section. Her interests include hiking, camping, and bicycling and she has additional experience with the Rudy A. Ciccotti Family Recreation Center and the AmCare Ambulance service in Rome, New York. Jess was most recently an Associate at FitzGerald Morris Baker Firth in Glens Falls and prior to that worked at an estate planning and elder law firm in Albany.
